Sometimes, words aren't necessary. All we have to do is push play on the song. If a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes music is worth a thousand memories and endless emotions.
Studies have shown music plays a role in how hard people work when they're working out, and the music a group fitness instructor uses can be one of the main reasons why students do - or don't - choose to take their classes.
We've all experienced this, right? A perfectly good spinning class is ruined when the teacher starts playing a honky tonk country song that makes you want to walk out. Or the Glutes and Guts guy insists on using Bon Jovi ...every time he teaches class. Umm, no thanks and buh-bye.
So here's a playlist, compiled with help from several students and Badass recruits, that I like to think of as "The" playlist of the Badass Army. It's about energy, motivation, giving 110 percent, gaining confidence, seeing the beauty you have inside and out. It's about going for it. Believing. Never giving up.
So just push play, and keep pushin'!
